Over a thousand Sany equipment! A $500 billion project!

In northwest Saudi Arabia, more than 1,600 units of SANY equipment are waving their iron arms and constructing in full swing, promoting the rise of a giant future city at full speed.

In October 2017, Saudi Arabia announced that it would invest more than US$500 billion to build an unprecedented "future city" called NEOM in the northwest of the country.

NEOM is a combination of the Greek word "new" and the Arabic word "future", meaning "new future". As the core of "Saudi Vision 2030", NEOM is a futuristic city full of technology. The entire project covers an area of 26,500 square kilometers, including The Line, Sindalah, Trojena, Oxagon and other areas, spanning mountains, deserts and oceans, focusing on energy and Nine major industries, including water, biotechnology, food, and clean manufacturing, will be completely powered by renewable energy. The project is huge and the concept is avant-garde, attracting global attention.

Since the second half of 2021, more than 1,600 SANY equipment have been deployed at the NEOM New City construction site, including cranes, excavators, loaders, dump trucks, concrete pump trucks and other types of construction machinery.

Running such a large number of devices at the same time is also a big challenge for service. To this end, SANY has established an on-site service team composed of more than 50 engineers to respond quickly to ensure construction progress.

As the project continues to advance, the efficient performance of SANY equipment has been unanimously recognized by customers, and intended orders continue to pour in. It is expected that the number of SANY equipment on site will continue to increase, contributing more SANY strength to NEOM New City.
